Unfortunately, I can't attend the Retreat this year because my brother and I are taking my Dad to Walker, MN, for some fishing. When I was researching the area, lo and behold, I found four fiber arts stores, so I planned a little tour. In Bemidji, MN, I'm going to The Yarn Cabin and Fiddlesticks Yarn Store, in Park Rapids, MN, I'm going to Monika's Quilt & Yarn Store, and in Pine River, MN, I'm going to Serenity Now Yarn & Alpaca Store.

Just a reminder, No Meeting Tonight!
It's my daughter's birthday today and we are going out to celebrate her tonight. We will be meeting up this Saturday for Coffee & Crochet at 11am CST. I hope to see you there!
Hey everyone! I hope y’all are doing well. I have a question, I’m planning on flying to Jacksonville NC next month, and of course I am bringing my crotchet stuff, but my question is will I be able to have my metal hooks with me on the plane in my carry-on or will I have to put them in my suitcase? I have a variety of hooks so if I have to put them in my suitcase, it won’t be a problem. But my favorite is metal lol. I’m pretty sure I won’t be able to have my scissors on the plane so I’m going to buy a plastic pair, if I can find them. But please let me know if there are any other items or issues I may run into while trying to fly. The last time I flew I wasn’t a crocheter so I didn’t have to worry about it but now I am and now I do 😂

Hi everyone! It’s me again! As you can see, I’m beginning to feel that this 2023 Temperature Blanket and I just aren’t destined for each other. I really seem to have a tension issue and I am getting so frustrated. The Jan.-June stitches look a little tight so with Tiffany’s (and a few others from the Club) I focused harder on loosening my stitches from July-Sept. but now they look too loose & wavy!! I’m beginning to believe this is the end for me on this project—I’m so tired of frogging😭😭😭

I finished our cardigan for the CAL, the unstructured jacket on Saturday.
I modified the starting chain and length of garment so it would be 9" shorter. I also modified the placement and size of armhole.

Hi Everyone!!! Here is the finished Spiderman inspired temperature blanket that I've been working on for one of our granddaughters. We celebrate her birthday this weekend. I hope she likes it. White represents 20 degrees and below so November, December and January was fairly cold. Remember, I live in Minnesota.😄

This is my temperature blanket as of the beginning of May. I meant to post this sooner but I forgot. My stitches really pulled in during March, but no matter how it turns out, I am learning a ton and that is why I took this project on.

🌸💖 Happy Mother’s Day! 💖🌸
To all the amazing moms out there, today is a celebration of you! Whether you're crocheting your heart out, spending time with family, or simply enjoying a quiet moment—today is YOUR day. 🌷✨
As a special thank you for all you do, I'm sending you love and good vibes from my crochet corner to yours. 💐 I hope you feel appreciated and loved today and always. Keep creating, keep loving, and keep shining! ✨
💐 Let’s celebrate YOU today! 💐

My Temp Blanket done thru May 1. Not happy with my edges in Jan! A bit of a disaster, but hopefully the border will be able to hide most of that. After Jan not so bad as I did a stitch count from time to time and “readjusted” to the 212 count when necessary. I’m SOOOO glad to be done w that Bobble stitch! Only have done May 1 row of SC, so will see how my first row 2 of the stitch will be.
