There is a great bundle for sale of Crochet, Knit and Sewing Amigurumi e-Books for sale on Humble Bundle, 3 different priced bundles at $1, $10 or $18. I've used this site before so it is legitimate : https://www.humblebundle.com/books/amigurumi-crochet-and-more-open-road-media-books?hmb_source=&hmb_medium=product_tile&hmb_campaign=mosaic_section_1_layout_index_1_layout_type_threes_tile_index_3_c_amigurumicrochetandmoreopenroadmedia_bookbundle

Yea, this video 2 shows locked for me as well and says it won't be available for 7 days and I watched video 1 back when I posted in it's comments, towards the beginning of the month.

Tiffany Hansen, they are probably doing the alternative to a magic ring, which is ch5, sl st but then the next round of stitches are worked inside that ring and over part of the tail.  Then when you finish that round you can grab the tail pull on it and it cinches up and closes the hole (they may have skipped typing that last info in).  I don't like the magic ring since I feel it isn't as secure so I use that method with the chain stitches, slip stitch and then cinch closed the small hole.  I usually modify if it's 4 chains, 3 chains or 5 chains to begin with depending on the size(thickness) of the yarn and the yarn hook being used.  The smaller the stitches it needs one or two more chains so you can fit the stitches in of the upcoming round.

Here is Kevin's debut, the little chicky I made with wild feathers, this is the amigurmi kit I bought off of Amazon last year which has the pattern for him and his egg. I used different yarn and hook size though and I made the egg a bit bigger His body was 2 strands of dk weight yarn. I used yarn I had here around the house and scraps for the small parts. Here is the plant with pot I also finally finished to go with him.  Pattern idea from a different kit but the pattern was very incorrect so I had to rewrite it and a video tutorial helped me with how to make the heart shaped vine leaves. here is the YouTube video for the tutorial on how to make the heart shaped leaves: https://youtu.be/FgKa7OYUzH8?si=5J8nNPS9E64kDKfy
