Temperature blanket. My latest update

June 01

My blanket up to date.   An hour glass going.   But my personal blanket and large enough, unless someone spreads it out on a floor or bed, I’m hoping not too noticeable.    Hitting The hotter temps this moth.  So new colors will pop up this month.

Tiffany, I got to the June stitch tutorial thru ur website on YouTube. I assume you will be adding it to the Crochet Club site?  It’s a lot easier that way.

Tiffany & Fellow crochet fanatics.  (Cross posted from the "questions channel since there seems to be more activity here.) I have been working on the 2024 sampler blanket.  I have completed the join and only need to weave my ends before starting the border, but I see this as a challenge.  The join yarn is so light compared to the square borders and most of the squares.  How do I weave in ends in a way that doesn't show when all I have that matches is a bunch of chains?  I am a beginner and I do not want to ruin everything by getting this wrong.

Hey everyone! I hope y’all are doing well. I have a question, I’m planning on flying to Jacksonville NC next month, and of course I am bringing my crotchet stuff, but my question is will I be able to have my metal hooks with me on the plane in my carry-on or will I have to put them in my suitcase? I have a variety of hooks so if I have to put them in my suitcase, it won’t be a problem. But my favorite is metal lol. I’m pretty sure I won’t be able to have my scissors on the plane so I’m going to buy a plastic pair, if I can find them. But please let me know if there are any other items or issues I may run into while trying to fly. The last time I flew I wasn’t a crocheter so I didn’t have to worry about it but now I am and now I do 😂

I live in Bushnell, Florida, about 50 miles northwest of Orlando.  I was hoping to get to the Orlando gathering, but spent time in the hospital in April and now have many follow-up doctor visits.  Would love to stop by if I have the chance, but understand if it is not allowed.  God bless you all in your travels and in your fellowship.  I am still working 30 hours a week and last week was extremely busy for me, including a day trip to Orlando for work.

Be well,  Mary (Mollie) Wiegand

Wavy April…. I noticed my March (yes I am behind! 😂) was tighter and pulling in so my last couple days I tried to loosen my tension. Well I think I created a problem for myself as now as I work in April, my width has grown and is wavy. Do I need to frog it or hope as I add days and then start May it will be less noticeable?  Help!🙏
