Hi Tiffany - I have a question about the crochet along sampler blanket. My square #2 is smaller than my square #1. Should I frog and redo the square or do you think I should add more rows.

During Tiffany's Wednesday WIP Knockout today, Amelia L. asked how to become a member of Tiffany's channel.

I thought the info would be useful to anyone, especially since in addition to Tiffany, Michaela and Nessa both have memberships on their YouTube channels.

I've checked, and the button doesn't show up if you're in YouTube's app, so you have to go to YouTube.com. I've included pics that I hope show up big enough for folks to see.

When you're watching a video on a channel that has a membership, next to the Subscribe button is a Join button, usually in black or blue. Click on it, and it pops up a window that outlines the plan or plans that channel has (if there's more than one, you click on which one you want) and another Join button. That will take you to the payment window and voila!

When you're on a channel page, next to the Subscribe button is the Join button, but I'm seeing them in white so they're not as obvious. Same process to join on this page - click join, pick your plan, click join again, pay, and taa-daa!

I want to add that since Nessa is one of the most tech-savvy among us, she's got a video that plays when you go into her membership area, and she explains how things work. Some folks may see something like "Subscribe+" instead of "Join."

I hope this helps everyone! Does anyone else have a YouTube channel? I like to subscribe to anyone I can. My YouTube channel is @FireLakeCreations but I am very far away from monetization so no memberships yet. 🥰

Hi All, I did my first swatch of the easy ripple stitch (Creative Grandma channel). I made chain to the length I wanted of 35”. However, not thinking after a couple rows it shrinked to 25” due to the ripples. The pattern was 4 DC in a row. How do I calculate for the reduced length so I can still end up w 35” in actual finished length?  Thanks!

Don’t think this 2023 CAL Sampler blanket will ever get finished! I keep trying to loosen my tension or use a different size hook and as you can see I don’t think I’m making much progress😢 I’m so tired of frogging and doing over-I’m just SO frustrated!! I’m really trying & really enjoy crocheting (when I have the time) but I’m wondering if this is hopeless???

Can someone help me out? 😫

I’m following a pattern for a sweater. I’m doing the first sleeve and I’m not understanding how they are getting to a stitch count 🤦‍♀️

Photo one is Row 3 for reference. When I do my first four increase rows I’m matching the 45 stitch count.

I’m getting lost at the Size S and L only section.

It tells me to repeat row 3 24x; repeat inc rows 1-4 once.

Then it tells me to repeat row 3 22x and my stitch count should be 57.

If I’m only doing my increase rows once then that would only add another 4 stitches which would leave me at 49 - but that’s final stitch count for S.

Am I not reading it correctly?

Sorry for the long post!!!!! ☺️

Hi Tiffany, I'm not sure if I can post this here or if I should post it in another section.  I heard of this a few months back and was able to make and finish and mail off one blanket for this blanket donation drive to Camp Boggy Creek in FL, it's a camp for kids with chronic illnesses.  The kids get to go for free and each kid gets to take home a hand made crochet or knit blanket with their own sewn teddy bear.  The ladies who are running the blanket donation drive will start recollecting blankets in Aug 2024 of this year.

If you would like more information you can find it on the following YouTube channels:  @ShezgotYarn  ,  @CharmedGrammyCrochet  ,  @ninasknotscrochet  and  @CraftyFloridian  .

The requirements for the blankets, they must be knit or crochet and be the following size: 30" to 40" wide by 40" to 50" long. Thanks and I hope we can all chip in and help and reach the new goal for 2024- 2025!!

Here is a link to the video that was created by the camp from when the blankets were dropped off from the ladies running the blanket drive and dropping off all the blankets on 2/13/24.
