Here is Kevin's debut, the little chicky I made with wild feathers, this is the amigurmi kit I bought off of Amazon last year which has the pattern for him and his egg. I used different yarn and hook size though and I made the egg a bit bigger His body was 2 strands of dk weight yarn. I used yarn I had here around the house and scraps for the small parts. Here is the plant with pot I also finally finished to go with him.  Pattern idea from a different kit but the pattern was very incorrect so I had to rewrite it and a video tutorial helped me with how to make the heart shaped vine leaves. here is the YouTube video for the tutorial on how to make the heart shaped leaves: https://youtu.be/FgKa7OYUzH8?si=5J8nNPS9E64kDKfy

Migna Marrero you're welcome. You can always measure a sweater you already have to see what that length is, just remember this pattern has a section above the armholes that you need to take into consideration and leave space for.  The crochet designer does not show how long that section is in her schematic.

Migna Marrero I listed it in the comments above, but this will also depend on your gauge concerning if you need to make less stitches for your chain to shorten it or not and by how much.

Mimi Pauwels I started with 91 chains for my starting chain, so that it will hopefully be 9" less and my length will be 40." The number of chains to use to start with and for the overall length of the cardi can be different for you depending on your gauge and how your gauge swatch came out.  Tiffany explains it in the video above.

Thanks Tiffany, I did my gauge swatch and I was able to match gauge with my 7mm hook using WeCrochet Brava tweed colorway Stratus
