Tiffany Hansen I was looking at the pattern last week trying to decide what yarn I would use for this and the sizing/measurements for this cardigan seem very big when I looked at their schematic. I do see that it says one size fits most. I have a cardigan-sweater commercially made that is the same type of design which I really like and I measured it.  The width was the same at 60" but the length I think it said 39" which for me is really long since I'm short, 5'2".  The measurement of the length of my store bought waterfall sweater is 30" so I would like to make this where it's not super long on me, past or at my knees and also crochet fabric tends to stretch as well. I was looking at the pattern briefly and I didn't see where exactly I would modify it for the overall length.  I was hoping since you already started it and have spent more time with the pattern that you would know and could tell us/help us out.  I was thinking it might be the starting chain length but I wasn't really sure.  Thanks

thanks Tiffany, sorry I won't be able to make it. I'm going to the NC Fiberfest Friday and Saturday and going to the Freeform Weaving class with the fest tomorrow that I signed up for.  I may enter 2 items into the Fiber festival competition, let's see if I win any prizes. I'm thinking of entering my cable poncho and a blanket I made.

Tiffany Hansen I had bought yarn to make something for St Patrick's day contest but I've been way too busy so I wasn't able to start it but  I am ok either way.

thank you for letting us know and I hope he feels better soon.  I completely understand because the day my back went out in Jan 2021 I was in excruciating pain and unable to walk or sit down to goto the restroom.  Luckily I wasn't home alone at the time and it turned out that was when I herniated two of my discs the day before.

I love Susan bates hooks, I use their interlock. I love my Prym hooks too and I also use clover soft touch and the larger sized clover hooks. I use Dot hooks from WeCrochet as well. I have some Furls hooks but I haven't used them.  I find it's personal test on what hooks you like the most, style, inline or taped and if they are ergonomic and the material used.
