Great question Robyn!  Use whatever shade of Blue you want for the beanies.  You can even use a color that is multicolored as long as it has 80% blue in it.  Correct me if that percentage is off PJ.  😊❤️🧶

If you go to the ALL VIDEOS tab at the top of the screen then scroll down to the Crochet Along playlist here in the membership you will find the video tutorial and the pattern is included in the resources. The membership gets early access and won't be released on YouTube until Tuesday. Let me know if you can't find it!

I would love to hear what kind of stretches you do Suzanne!  I have found some general ones but to know what kind of stretches you have learned through pt would be really intersting to me. 😊🧶❤️

Exactly Tanya,  Once you have used the yarn once, depending on your crochet tension the yarn can definitely take on a different look.  Sometimes when I take work out that has been in a project for awhile it comes out crimped.  But don't worry about reusing it.  The look will continue to stay consistent with the project as it's worked up.  😊❤️🧶

That is a great question Sandra.  There could actually be a couple different answers depending on what's going on.  Tanya did a great job answering one of the potential issues... Tension.

Another cause, also tension related, the foundation row chain is tighter than the room your stitches within your rows need so the stitches bow outward on the sides to make room to lay flat.  A way to fix this would be to use a larger crochet hook to make you foundation chain and then switch back to your regular crochet hook.

And vis-versa, if your foundation chain is much looser than the stitches need for the inner body of the project then your blanket will bow inward.  You can do the opposite and start with a smaller crochet hook to make your foundation row chain.  Then switch to a larger hook for row 1.

The only other thing I can think of is a counting issue.  It can be very easy to add or drop stitches in a row without even knowing you are doing it.

Counting can really help to stay on track.
