Fall Crochet Contest Next Month!!

Wednesday Oct. 30th we will be hosting our Fall Crochet Contest during our Crafter's Gathering!Β  The theme is all things Fall or Halloween.Β

Here is a picture of the projects people submitted last year!Β  Can you believe we are celebrating our second year here in the crochet club!Β  So much fun being able to share what we have done in the past.

Do NOT feel intimidated or that you don't have the skills to possibly win.  That's not what this contest is about.  This contest is an excuse to crochet that project you have been super curious to try but couldn't bring yourself to do it.  NOW you have a reason! 😁

Just have fun with it!Β Β

I can't wait to see what projects you all bring to the contest this year!

For more information, check out the Calendar and October to find the event!

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

Hi Robyn!Β  Great question.Β  As long as the shipping date is in September it will count towards our September Campaign!Β  Also make sure to put somewhere on the shipping label OR in the package that your donations are part of the Tiffany Campaign so Stacy knows to count the numbers.Β  πŸ˜ŠπŸ’–πŸ§Ά

Tasha Wiese great question!  There are quite a few options you could play with.  You could go super simple and make a half double crochet border to frame the blanket using the same yarn you used on the inner body.  OR you could make a ribbed border like I did in the heirloom baby blanket. Also using the same yarn.  OR just go super simple with a single crochet or half double crochet or double crochet border using a solid color that will POP.  Try using a color that is also located on the inside of the blanket for a good match.  But I wouldn't go too detailed as that might take away from what is going on inside the blanket.  😊
