The soap sacks I was able to finish and I mailed them off on Monday. :) I used the patterns from the soap sacks site and some I modified a bit and I used the yarn donated to us from the crochet retreat.

Each month, I’ll be sharing a Calendar Stitch Card, which includes the month’s calendar along with crochet stitch instructions. Each month, you’ll work the row using the stitch of the month, paired with the appropriate yarn color based on that day's temperature. This will give you a beautiful, textured blanket that grows month by month.I’m really excited to share that we’ll be learning 12 different crochet stitches throughout the year—some you may have tried before, and others will be new to you. Whether you’ve crocheted for years or are a newer crocheter, this project will be a fun and rewarding challenge. Every month’s stitch will add a unique texture to the blanket, making it a truly personalized and stunning piece of art.One of the best parts of this CAL is the new community section in the Crochet Club. A few projects I recently finished, both are patterns from Bag O Day Crochet, the blanket is a kit from Mary Maxim, pattern: Beauty runs Deep, 5.5mm hook but I changed the purple from the kit to dark blue yarn from Herrschner's worsted 8 yarn, because the tone was too close in the purple and light brown. The shawl is the Jessica shawl from Bag o Day crochet and I already forgot the hook size I used.

Fall Crochet Contest Next Month!!
Wednesday Oct. 30th we will be hosting our Fall Crochet Contest during our Crafter's Gathering! The theme is all things Fall or Halloween.
Here is a picture of the projects people submitted last year! Can you believe we are celebrating our second year here in the crochet club! So much fun being able to share what we have done in the past.
Do NOT feel intimidated or that you don't have the skills to possibly win. That's not what this contest is about. This contest is an excuse to crochet that project you have been super curious to try but couldn't bring yourself to do it. NOW you have a reason! 😁
