Join Me for the 2025 Temperature-Sampler Blanket Crochet Along!I am beyond excited to announce the launch of my 2025 Temperature-Sampler Blanket Crochet Along (CAL), kicking off in January! This project will be a fun, interactive, and beautiful way to document your year while learning new crochet stitches and creating a one-of-a-kind blanket that tells the story of your year through color and temperature. For this CAL, we'll be making one row every day, documenting the temperature for that day and using a specific yarn color to match the temperature range from our very own Temperature Gauge. I’ve created a Temperature Gauge with a color indicator that will help guide you in choosing the right yarn for each day’s temperature. But that's not all! Each month, I’ll be sharing a Calendar Stitch Card, which includes the month’s calendar along with crochet stitch instructions. Each month, you’ll work the row using the stitch of the month, paired with the appropriate yarn color based on that day's temperature. This will give you a beautiful, textured blanket that grows month by month.I’m really excited to share that we’ll be learning 12 different crochet stitches throughout the year—some you may have tried before, and others will be new to you. Whether you’ve crocheted for years or are a newer crocheter, this project will be a fun and rewarding challenge. Every month’s stitch will add a unique texture to the blanket, making it a truly personalized and stunning piece of art.One of the best parts of this CAL is the new community section in the Crochet Club. This space will be dedicated to the Temperature-Sampler Blanket project, where you can:Ask questions: Whether you're new to the project or need help with a stitch, this section is the perfect place to ask for guidance.Share your progress: I can’t wait to see how your blanket is coming along! Whether it’s a photo of a finished row, an update on your materials, or just a note about how the project is going, sharing your journey will be so fun for everyone.Discuss materials: Not sure what yarn to use? Want to talk about hook sizes or other tools? The community section is the place to chat about it all.I encourage everyone to participate, whether you’re jumping in with your first CAL or are a seasoned pro. This project is all about community, creativity, and making something beautiful together. To get started, all you need to do is make sure you're part of my Crochet Club, where I’ll be sharing the Calendar Stitch Cards and all the information you need to follow along. The community section will be open for sharing, asking questions, and engaging with fellow crocheters throughout the entire project.I can’t wait to kick off this journey with you all and see how your Temperature-Sampler Blankets turn out. It's going to be a year-long adventure, and I’m so thrilled to have you all along for the ride! I'm thinking about making a cardigan and matching skirt. I am TERRIFIED that my ends will come undone. How can I make sure this doesn't happen? Is there a special glue I can use? If so, will it hold up if I wash the wearables? I can NOT wrap my head around the idea that I won't end up standing with a pile of yarn at my feet lol. Any advice would be super appreciated, thank you in advance!

Just finished a few projects but it's not easy for me to post pics here.  I finished this blanket, 4 squares done with c2c moss stitch with self striping yarn from Herrschners antiquity line, colorways: autumnal and bonfire and joined with herrschners worsted 8 dark grey, The squares are done with 5.5mm hook and the border plus join with a 7mm crochet hook.  I used the c2c moss stitch square video tutorial from Hooked by Robin.

I will most likely try to submit this for donation to Boggy Creek camp along with the c2c blanket I just finished.  I used Premier Dottie yarn, colorway Peach blossom, border bon bon Ince yarn in brown heather, using a 5mm crochet hook.

the 3rd blanket in beige, dark red and brown was hand knit made with lion brand loopy yarn. I made it with the intent to donate but decided to keep this one.

This candy corn themed shawl I made as a birthday gift to a friend with Herrschners halloween sparkle yarn.

Last shawl is made with premier sweet rolls DK yarn colorway: Yellowstone, fiber spider pattern virus shawl meets granny. I personally don't like how the colorway looks.

Hi all, Tiffany Hansen. In need of assistance on possible conversion for c2c to normal pattern. I found this Bluey blanket I want to make my daughter for graduation.  It states it is a c2c but I’ve never done a c2c. There are 15 colors that go along with it and the creator is stating #4 weight yarn, but only a 3.5mm hook.  Is it possible to work this with a half double or double crochet so it has more drape? The pattern does not indicate the size of the final blanket. I would consider myself an advanced beginner, early intermediate crocheter.  Any help or assistance is greatly appreciated! Thank you!! Jennifer

I also recently finished this shawl, made with roll with it sparkle yarn. PAttern: bag o day crochet, High expectations shawl and a 6mm crochet hook. I also made one in blues and brows.  Both shawls will be auctioned off in Dec, on Mama G Gear's auction to raise funds for her charity, Mental health and meows.

My daughter in law wanted Patrick star from sponge bob. Crocheting amigurumi are not my favorite but the back side is funny 😁
