🧶✨ Exciting Announcement! Join me this September for the Crochet Campaign with Soap Sacks!

🧼💕 Let's make a difference together by crocheting soap sacks for those in need!

Whether you're sending them to Stacy at the S.A.C.K. Foundation or donating locally, every sack counts.

Here's how you can participate:

🌟 Campaign Details:

Goal: Let's aim to create 500 soap sacks collectively!

Patterns: You can use any pattern you like.

Yarn: Please use 100% cotton or cotton blend yarn for hygiene reasons.

Drawstring or Loop: Include a drawstring or loop so the soap sack can hang for sanitation purposes.

📦 Sending to Stacy (S.A.C.K. Foundation):

Soap sacks shipped to Stacy do not need to include soap. Address:

S.A.C.K.,

ATTN: Crochet With Tiffany,

P.O. Box 33,

Allenhurst, NJ 07711.

🏠 Donating Locally: Soap sacks donated locally must include one unopened bar of soap per sack. Keep track of where and how many you donate for our collective count.

Let's make this September a month of giving and creativity! Together, we can spread kindness one stitch at a time. 🌈💖

I absolutely love the Notifications Tab you added under the Home tab. I sometimes get lost in what I've seen and what I haven't. Thank you so much

Last month I went on my first yarn crawl in Arkansas. This past week went on my 2nd yarn crawl - the inaugural Oklahoma yarn crawl. Had so much fun, spent waaaayyyy too much and built some fun memories. Bought enough yarn between the two crawls for 6 projects plus some unknown future ones 😂 the first picture is my Arkansas purchases and the second one is the Oklahoma haul.

Creating a crochet Christmas gift plan is a great way to stay organized and ensure you have everything ready in time for the holidays. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help you:

Make a Gift List

  • Identify Recipients: Write down everyone you want to make gifts for.

  • Brainstorm Ideas: Think about what each person might like. Consider their interests, needs, and style.

Set Priorities

  • Determine Importance: Decide which gifts are most important or time-consuming.

  • Rank by Difficulty: Assess which projects might be more complex or require more time.

Choose Patterns

  • Select Patterns: Pick crochet patterns that match your recipients' preferences and your skill level.

  • Collect Patterns: Gather or create patterns for each gift. Make sure they are suitable for the yarn you plan to use.

Estimate Time

  • Time Allocation: Estimate how long each project will take and plan accordingly.

  • Create a Schedule: Break down your tasks into manageable chunks and set deadlines for each project.

Gather Supplies

  • Yarn: Choose colors and types of yarn that suit each project.

  • Notions: Make sure you have all necessary tools like hooks, buttons, and embellishments.

  • Purchase Early: Buy supplies ahead of time to avoid last-minute scrambles.

Create a Project Timeline

  • Project Dates: Assign start and finish dates for each gift project based on your estimated times.

  • Buffer Time: Include some extra time for unexpected delays or adjustments.

Track Progress

  • Checklist: Keep track of what’s completed and what’s pending.

  • Notes: Record any adjustments or modifications you make to patterns or yarn choices.

Wrapping & Presentation

  • Packaging: Plan how you’ll wrap or present your gifts. You might want to make custom gift tags or bags.

  • Delivery: Consider how you’ll deliver the gifts if you’re not seeing the recipients in person.

Review & Adjust

  • Evaluate: Regularly review your progress and adjust your plan as needed.

  • Flexibility: Be flexible and adjust your timeline or priorities if necessary.

By breaking down your plan into these steps, you’ll be able to manage your time effectively and create thoughtful, handmade gifts that your friends and family will love.
