I finished baby blanket #1!  I love this border I tried. It’s called a Spider Stitch and it makes such a nice little edge. Very easy too and you can make it as wide as you want.

Hi All, I did my first swatch of the easy ripple stitch (Creative Grandma channel). I made chain to the length I wanted of 35”. However, not thinking after a couple rows it shrinked to 25” due to the ripples. The pattern was 4 DC in a row. How do I calculate for the reduced length so I can still end up w 35” in actual finished length?  Thanks!

My temp blanket progress through today, Feb 2.  First row of the new stitch was slow, but I got the hang of it!  So I feel confident for the rest of the month!

Tiffany, my stitch count is 210!!! 😃

I finished rows through yesterday’s temps. Brighter blue at the foundation now lighter more purplish blue.  Heading toward dark purple!  Getting colder here ugh!

Tiffany. I’m at the end of row 3 and I think it looks about the same as yours per your instruction video? Here’s the pic.  Not sure if you could tell if I’m on the right track by the pic but thought I’d show you.  I was just questioning it when I get done w row 4 although I guess I’ll be at the other end at that point anyway.

All, I happen to find a site for temp blanket planning w actual temps for your area then it pulls up color palettes based on your past temps! Even though I figured out my temp gauge with wunderground,  I found this other site very helpful to figure out colors to use. It’s called temperature-blanket.com
