That is a great question Brenda!  Because it is 100% cotton I think you should be able to put it in the washing machine.  I would lay it out to dry though and shape it.  Otherwise the drier might make it a wrinkled mess.  If you choose to  use a stiffening spray or element you may need to reapply after washing.  I'm not 100% sure.  I haven't played with a stiffening agent on a crochet project and then tried washing it before.  Would be a good experiment.  😊❤️🧶

Oh gosh I have a couple blanket videos I think would be perfect for this.  Keep in mind, you can change the yarn brand and color of any of the blankets I recommend here just try to keep the same yarn thickness or size.
