My most current progress update on my Temperature Blanket!  What color seems to be popping up most on your temperature blanket?  Right now, my Temperature Blanket has the most amount of red. ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you Amelia!

You can wait to share the night of.  If you can send me pictures before it makes it easier for me to add the images to the Google form where people vote and the PowerPoint Presentation but it's not required. ☺️

Voting CLOSED - for our first Wearable CAL here in the Crochet Club! I will be taking votes through Feb. 7th.  Then I will close votes to prep for our Crochet Along.

I will provide material information you will need to collect, how to find the pattern, when we will begin and what to expect.

I'm so excited to see what you all vote on!  If there is a wearable you really want to make but did not win the vote, Remember that I do offer a 1-on-1 Crochet Club Membership level where we can work on this project together ourselves.  You can find more information on the different Membership Levels under your Dashboard in the upper right-hand corner.

Are you thinking of entering in a Crochet Project to our Valentine's Day Crochet Contest?  Did you even know we were having a crochet contest?  You have GOT to check this out.

There will be 2 prizes:  Most Hearts  and   Most Shared Of Pink

All crochet levels are more than welcome!

Use whatever pattern you want!  I like to think of this as your excuse to crochet something you have always wanted to but keep talking yourself out of.

RULES:

  1. Project must be made by you

  2. Project must be completed on entry

  3. Project must be on theme for Valentine's Day not a random project you decided to enter.

  4. You do not have to be present to win.  Just make sure I have pictures of your project by the day before the contest so I can put them into a slideshow for all to see.

If you do not want to enter a project into the contest or don't think you will have time, THAT'S OK!

Please still come to help us vote for winners!  It is so much fun to see what people create!

Let's Have Some Fun!! ❤️🩷🧡💛💚💙🩵💜🤎🤍

Me personally, I have no problem starting projects. It's completing them that I have trouble with. How about you?

I think the reason why is that I have SQUIREL moments of distraction from beautiful yarns that I want to play with and just want to start something new in order to play with that new yarn.

OH!  Here you go!  It looks as though the thumbnail didn't get added to it.  LINK:  https://members.crochetwithtiffany.com/programs/fix-your-crochet-blanket-with-this-easy-border-solution-for-uneven-edges

Hi Angela!  You can absolutely use a size 5 weight yarn for this blanket!  Just know that Temperature Blankets are yarn eaters as we are making 365 rows.  I estimate the blanket made with a size 3 weight yarn will be approximately 7 feet long.  So I made the width of the blanket 5 feet wide.  Using a thicker yarn means your blanket proportions will be bigger.  Your blanket might be closer to 9 feet long so maybe aim for a 6 to 7 foot width.  (Hint/Tip:  Temperature Blankets are not your normal throw blanket, they are commonly excessively long.  Think of this project more as a keepsake as you are recording history which makes this blanket extremely memorable and special).  Starting in January, just focus on that multiple stitch count requirement of Multiple of 2 + 1.  Use your measuring tape, and then check your measurement after 3 - 4 rows to make sure the width measurement has stayed the same or if you need to go back and adjust.  I hope this helps!  I'm so excited for you to join in!
