Monday, Oct. 7th:  Crochet Book Club Meeting

Hi Crochet Club Members!

Heads up that this Monday, Oct. 7th at 2pm CST we will be having a Live meetup here in the Crochet Club for our October Crochet Book Of The Month!

We will be going over what the book is, why one of our Crochet Club Members recommended the book to our book club and a few tidbits that you might want to know before you get started.

Remember, this is all for fun, inspiration and exposure to new crochet concepts and ideas.  

Please share in the Crochet Book Club Chat:

• If you do decide to make a project from the book

• what project you will be making and if you will be creating something on your own with a concept from the book

• What materials you plan on playing with

• And pictures of your work in progress as you go.

Also!  If you can get a picture to me BEFORE our last Wednesday Meeting, Oct. 30th, I can share what our Crochet Book Club has been up to and hopefully inspire others to join in on the fun.

p.s. your project does not have to be completed to send in a picture by this date.  Any progress you have made on the project will be enough to share and inspire others.

Fall Crochet Contest Next Month!!

Wednesday Oct. 30th we will be hosting our Fall Crochet Contest during our Crafter's Gathering!  The theme is all things Fall or Halloween. 

Here is a picture of the projects people submitted last year!  Can you believe we are celebrating our second year here in the crochet club!  So much fun being able to share what we have done in the past.

Do NOT feel intimidated or that you don't have the skills to possibly win.  That's not what this contest is about.  This contest is an excuse to crochet that project you have been super curious to try but couldn't bring yourself to do it.  NOW you have a reason! 😁

Just have fun with it!  

I can't wait to see what projects you all bring to the contest this year!

Whether you're sending them to Stacy at the S.A.C.K. Foundation or donating locally, every sack counts.

Here's how you can participate:

Goal: Let's aim to create 500 soap sacks collectively!

Patterns: You can use any pattern you like.

Yarn: Please use 100% cotton or cotton blend yarn for hygiene reasons.

Drawstring or Loop: Include a drawstring or loop so the soap sack can hang for sanitation purposes.
