Hi Amelia!  Those are generally fitting topics for our gathering space.  Perfect to share with everyone.  Please feel free to add pictures and posts here! 🤗💖🧶

Hi Mimi!  So sorry for the late response.  I missed this question for some reason.  If you are working my 2024 Sampler Blanket with 12 different squares it is to be expected the size of the squares may be slightly different.  As long as the squares are fairly close in size with a 1-2 inch variation then we can block the squares to get them even closer in size AND then the joining method I used in this project will help make all of the squares fit into the blanket and get the sides of the blanket straight.  A lot of different helpful techniques were used in this project knowing that there would be differences throughout.

All that to be said, if you square #2 is more than 2 inches in size then maybe try redoing the square.  A few people who did redo squares said their second square was MUCH better.  OR if the square has loose enough stitches to be able to block it, and stretch it out, then you might be ok.  🤗💖🧶

Great Question DeAnn!  I think you could absolutely use Wool-Ease Fair Isle yarn.  When you go to wash it I would wash on the gentle cycle and then lay flat to dry just in case. 😊

Hi Margie!  I think I responded to another post you made of this same problem.  The sides of the 2023 Temperature Blanket were wonky for most people.  A lesson I learned when making sampler stitch projects.  Not to put large and small stitches next to each other.  If your stitch tension is loose enough the sides do stretch and the border evens everything out.  So, try to focus on making your stitch tension loose and stretchy.  If all else fails, that is why I created the cover up blanket border.  You could also you the envelope border.  To cover the imperfections of the sides.  Either way, keep moving forward, try your best to keep your stitches loose, and you'll be ok. 💖💖🧶🧶
