Hi Nessa!  I only need 1 square from everyone so that we can include all the attendees in one project.  However, if you're having fun, feel free to make however many you would like!  😊💖🧶

Hi Sandra, Hmm, maybe the layout on your phone looks different.  To make a post, first go to the Community Page, then, at the top you should see something that looks like this picture.  Click on the giant PLUS sign.  This takes you to where you can make a post.  Type your message, add a picture, and then select which channel you want your post to show up on.  The general gathering place, or one of the more specific chat rooms.

I hope this helps!

Hi Sandra,  I'm so sorry you lost everything on you phone.  Nothing has changed that I can think of.  Please let me know if you have trouble getting your card.  I'll double check email notifications. 😊

This is awesome Janet! I'm so excited you got to check out the first half of this Arkansas yarn crawl!  I hope you had fun and have just as much fun next week!  Thanks for sharing your yarn haul!  Oh my gosh the yarn looks so yummy! 🤗💖🧶

I am so glad you are having fun with this CAL!  Great job keeping with the square even if it is proving to be challenging.  It will create a great story to share with people when they ask about this blanket. 🤗🧶💖

So interesting!  If you can keep all your squares about the same size then you'll be in a good spot.  It's ok if there is a slight variation though.  😊

Wow, your squares are measuring much smaller than anticipated.  I'm thinking your stitches must be much tighter than mine.  Maybe try working these up again with a larger crochet hook such as an I/9-5.50mm to adjust for the difference.  We are still only half way through the project, so if you need to start a square over, there is plenty of time.  🤗💖🧶

Wow, great catch.  I'm so grateful you said something.  Please go ahead and work up the 51 chains like I said in the video.  I'll be adjusting the pattern to match. 😊

Oh, how funny.  I think I just responded to your question in an email.  But I'm also glad you asked here so that more people can benefit from the answer.

If you measure your foundation row and it hits the dimension you want, but them measure again a few rows in and notice the dimension has grown!  It just means that the stitches you used in the project needed more space to lay flat than was provided in your foundation row chain.  The stitches stretched your chain out.

SOLUTION:

What's great is that you are still at the beginning and it won't be such a heartbreak to start over.  BEFORE you do though, take your tape measure and count how many stitches over 40 inches are in each row.  That way you will know how many to take out when you go back to your foundation. 🤗.  It's also ok if you are slightly thinner in your width dimension!  You can simply add a border around the blanket to hit all you measurement marks.

I hope this helps Tasha!  I'm so excited for you to make this blanket!
