Join Me for the 2025 Temperature-Sampler Blanket Crochet Along!I am beyond excited to announce the launch of my 2025 Temperature-Sampler Blanket Crochet Along (CAL), kicking off in January! This project will be a fun, interactive, and beautiful way to document your year while learning new crochet stitches and creating a one-of-a-kind blanket that tells the story of your year through color and temperature. For this CAL, we'll be making one row every day, documenting the temperature for that day and using a specific yarn color to match the temperature range from our very own Temperature Gauge. I’ve created a Temperature Gauge with a color indicator that will help guide you in choosing the right yarn for each day’s temperature. But that's not all! Each month, I’ll be sharing a Calendar Stitch Card, which includes the month’s calendar along with crochet stitch instructions. Each month, you’ll work the row using the stitch of the month, paired with the appropriate yarn color based on that day's temperature. This will give you a beautiful, textured blanket that grows month by month.I’m really excited to share that we’ll be learning 12 different crochet stitches throughout the year—some you may have tried before, and others will be new to you. Whether you’ve crocheted for years or are a newer crocheter, this project will be a fun and rewarding challenge. Every month’s stitch will add a unique texture to the blanket, making it a truly personalized and stunning piece of art.One of the best parts of this CAL is the new community section in the Crochet Club. This space will be dedicated to the Temperature-Sampler Blanket project, where you can:Ask questions: Whether you're new to the project or need help with a stitch, this section is the perfect place to ask for guidance.Share your progress: I can’t wait to see how your blanket is coming along! Whether it’s a photo of a finished row, an update on your materials, or just a note about how the project is going, sharing your journey will be so fun for everyone.Discuss materials: Not sure what yarn to use? Want to talk about hook sizes or other tools? The community section is the place to chat about it all.I encourage everyone to participate, whether you’re jumping in with your first CAL or are a seasoned pro. This project is all about community, creativity, and making something beautiful together. To get started, all you need to do is make sure you're part of my Crochet Club, where I’ll be sharing the Calendar Stitch Cards and all the information you need to follow along. The community section will be open for sharing, asking questions, and engaging with fellow crocheters throughout the entire project.I can’t wait to kick off this journey with you all and see how your Temperature-Sampler Blankets turn out. It's going to be a year-long adventure, and I’m so thrilled to have you all along for the ride! The Crafter's gathering that was earlier this week, will it be posted as a replay?  I saw your interview with Linda Simpson Designs but missed the gathering that night.

Hey Everyone!  I wanted to get a head start on June's Crochet Stitch of the month so that it doesn't feel rushed.  We will be going for a short stitch.  Last day to vote will be May 16th.  Let's vote!!

A couple people have now commented on my picture saying they didn’t think we can use googly eyes on our worms, and asking if we can use them or not, but no one has responded if that is true.

Can someone please confirm for me yes or no if we can use them before I continue making them? If we can’t then I’m going to stop.

Also, if we can’t, any suggestions for what I can do with the ones I’ve already made? Anywhere I can donate or send them myself?

Hopefully I’m not too late on these. I finally completely caught up my temperature blanket and can finally start working on making the worms.

I'm thinking about making some sort of small lapghan sized blanket for myself and three coworkers, with the goal of giving the three of them theirs for Christmas. I'm looking through Tiffany's videos and trying to decide what pattern/stitch would be a good one that would be simple enough that I won't give up, but also looks interesting enough that it's not just a basic, boring looking blanket. They just made the comment the other day that they would have never thought I would be someone who crochets, so I thought it would be fun to make something to impress them, and something they can maybe actually use.

Something to note is that we all work at home three days a week and come into the office two days a week. When we come into the office we are required to bring everything with us, and take everything back home when we leave. Therefore, if I were to give them a blanket that they might actually want to bring and use in the office to put over their legs (our office is pretty cold), then it would need to be lightweight enough to carry/fold up and not be a burden, but warm enough to keep them comfortable.

So, does anyone have any suggestions of patterns, stitches, sizes, yarns, etc?

Bonus if Tiffany has a video for it, because I find it super helpful to watch the close up to make sure I'm doing things right.

Thanks in advance!

I would like to share a hard copy of the Summer hat CAL pattern. I like the free blog site but I find it easier to actually look at a hard copy. Let’s see if I can attach it here for all to use. 💜

Well it’s not letting me attach it

Email me if you’d like a copy
