Join Me for the 2025 Temperature-Sampler Blanket Crochet Along!I am beyond excited to announce the launch of my 2025 Temperature-Sampler Blanket Crochet Along (CAL), kicking off in January! This project will be a fun, interactive, and beautiful way to document your year while learning new crochet stitches and creating a one-of-a-kind blanket that tells the story of your year through color and temperature.For this CAL, we'll be making one row every day, documenting the temperature for that day and using a specific yarn color to match the temperature range from our very own Temperature Gauge. I’ve created a Temperature Gauge with a color indicator that will help guide you in choosing the right yarn for each day’s temperature.But that's not all! Each month, I’ll be sharing a Calendar Stitch Card, which includes the month’s calendar along with crochet stitch instructions. Each month, you’ll work the row using the stitch of the month, paired with the appropriate yarn color based on that day's temperature. This will give you a beautiful, textured blanket that grows month by month.I’m really excited to share that we’ll be learning 12 different crochet stitches throughout the year—some you may have tried before, and others will be new to you. Whether you’ve crocheted for years or are a newer crocheter, this project will be a fun and rewarding challenge. Every month’s stitch will add a unique texture to the blanket, making it a truly personalized and stunning piece of art.One of the best parts of this CAL is the new community section in the Crochet Club. This space will be dedicated to the Temperature-Sampler Blanket project, where you can:Ask questions: Whether you're new to the project or need help with a stitch, this section is the perfect place to ask for guidance.Share your progress: I can’t wait to see how your blanket is coming along! Whether it’s a photo of a finished row, an update on your materials, or just a note about how the project is going, sharing your journey will be so fun for everyone.Discuss materials: Not sure what yarn to use? Want to talk about hook sizes or other tools? The community section is the place to chat about it all.I encourage everyone to participate, whether you’re jumping in with your first CAL or are a seasoned pro. This project is all about community, creativity, and making something beautiful together.To get started, all you need to do is make sure you're part of my Crochet Club, where I’ll be sharing the Calendar Stitch Cards and all the information you need to follow along. Summer Crochet Contest Replay is now up!!

My deepest apologies for all who tried to watch from the Crochet Club Live. I experienced technical difficulties that I could not figure out. I tried to improve the quality of the video minutes before going live and when doing so I inadvertently through all the links out of wack and I could not figure out how to fix it.

I hope you all enjoy the replay seeing all of the contest entries, hearing what inspired the creator and what challenges they may have experienced.

What would you name YOUR yarn shop??

After Tanya shared her Virginia Yarn Crawl experience it hit me all the cute names out there for yarn shops. Different spins on fiber names, people's names and their sanctuary/zen places to be. I thought it would be fun to imagine if we owned our own yarn shop and what we would call it. So, if YOU had a yarn shop, what would you name it?

Proud of myself

After not attempting or following through on any crochet projects for the past ten + years I’m really proud of myself for keeping up with my first temperature blanket so far!

Tiffany, I’d like to thank you for this project. I’ve learned so much through it and gained so much more confidence than I ever had in crochet in the past. So thankful I randomly found your video in December and impulsively decided to take on this year long project.

Side note: I really wasn’t loving July’s stitch, so I’m doing something different this month. Something I just figured out on my own, which is totally new for me as well! And it’s working! 🥰
