This cardi is one I've actually been wanting to make with you guys for a long time and to see that many of you thought the same thing is very exciting for me. I finished testing this free Godiva tee crochet pattern recently for this top from Heart Hook Home. She released it yesterday so I can finally share it with everyone. I used Cecilia cotton from Ice yarns and I made a size Large. It's a bit larger on me than I like personally and I also modified the arm holes for the sleeves to make them a bit smaller because mine came out too big and it was creating an odd bulge. I let the designer know but I'm not sure if she modified the pattern for the larger sizes or not. As with any wearables if you are making it for yourself I recommend you try it on as your making it. Our next Square for the 2024 Sampler Blanket CAL is the Arrow Square.
This pattern is so special because the pattern is so pronounced. The POP is extra defined.
In this pattern I took the opportunity to insert extra learning opportunities by including how to make an extra straight side with the yarn over trick. It looks a little funky in the pattern but watching the demonstration will help a lot!
