Join Me for the 2025 Temperature-Sampler Blanket Crochet Along!I am beyond excited to announce the launch of my 2025 Temperature-Sampler Blanket Crochet Along (CAL), kicking off in January! This project will be a fun, interactive, and beautiful way to document your year while learning new crochet stitches and creating a one-of-a-kind blanket that tells the story of your year through color and temperature. For this CAL, we'll be making one row every day, documenting the temperature for that day and using a specific yarn color to match the temperature range from our very own Temperature Gauge. I’ve created a Temperature Gauge with a color indicator that will help guide you in choosing the right yarn for each day’s temperature. But that's not all! Each month, I’ll be sharing a Calendar Stitch Card, which includes the month’s calendar along with crochet stitch instructions. Each month, you’ll work the row using the stitch of the month, paired with the appropriate yarn color based on that day's temperature. This will give you a beautiful, textured blanket that grows month by month.I’m really excited to share that we’ll be learning 12 different crochet stitches throughout the year—some you may have tried before, and others will be new to you. Whether you’ve crocheted for years or are a newer crocheter, this project will be a fun and rewarding challenge. Every month’s stitch will add a unique texture to the blanket, making it a truly personalized and stunning piece of art.One of the best parts of this CAL is the new community section in the Crochet Club. This space will be dedicated to the Temperature-Sampler Blanket project, where you can:Ask questions: Whether you're new to the project or need help with a stitch, this section is the perfect place to ask for guidance.Share your progress: I can’t wait to see how your blanket is coming along! Whether it’s a photo of a finished row, an update on your materials, or just a note about how the project is going, sharing your journey will be so fun for everyone.Discuss materials: Not sure what yarn to use? Want to talk about hook sizes or other tools? The community section is the place to chat about it all.I encourage everyone to participate, whether you’re jumping in with your first CAL or are a seasoned pro. This project is all about community, creativity, and making something beautiful together. To get started, all you need to do is make sure you're part of my Crochet Club, where I’ll be sharing the Calendar Stitch Cards and all the information you need to follow along. The community section will be open for sharing, asking questions, and engaging with fellow crocheters throughout the entire project.I can’t wait to kick off this journey with you all and see how your Temperature-Sampler Blankets turn out. It's going to be a year-long adventure, and I’m so thrilled to have you all along for the ride! I finished testing this free Godiva tee crochet pattern recently for this top from Heart Hook Home. She released it yesterday so I can finally share it with everyone.  I used Cecilia cotton from Ice yarns and I made a size Large. It's a bit larger on me than I like personally and I also modified the arm holes for the sleeves to make them a bit smaller because mine came out too big and it was creating an odd bulge. I let the designer know but I'm not sure if she modified the pattern for the larger sizes or not. As with any wearables if you are making it for yourself I recommend you try it on as your making it. Check out the May Crochet Book Club Projects!

The projects from this book where mostly large and very detailed.  Great job to all that were able to make something this month!  If you were a part of the book club and you wanted to make something from this book  but ran out of time, share with us which projects you would have made if you could.  🤗💖🧶

I got my shirt in the mail today. I purchased a large and I would say it’s oversized which I like.

Our next Square for the 2024 Sampler Blanket CAL is the Arrow Square.

This pattern is so special because the pattern is so pronounced.  The POP is extra defined.

In this pattern I took the opportunity to insert extra learning opportunities by including how to make an extra straight side with the yarn over trick.  It looks a little funky in the pattern but watching the demonstration will help a lot!

Let me know what you think!

Good Morning Everyone!  Happy Saturday! ☕🧶🌄

Update on today's Coffee & Crochet Meetup,  We are moving the Crochet Iron Crafter game to Wednesday, May 29th.  I can tell that people needed just a little more time to finish up their projects.  I only received one email with pictures for the game and that was a pretty big indicator that most of you are needing just a little more time to wrap up your projects.

NO WORRIES!!!  Let's let today be all about finishing wips, show & tell, and hanging out.

But definitely mark your calendar for Wednesday's meeting!  You don't want to miss it!  Some of the projects I've received a sneak peak at are INSPIRED! 🤩
