Join Me for the 2025 Temperature-Sampler Blanket Crochet Along!I am beyond excited to announce the launch of my 2025 Temperature-Sampler Blanket Crochet Along (CAL), kicking off in January! This project will be a fun, interactive, and beautiful way to document your year while learning new crochet stitches and creating a one-of-a-kind blanket that tells the story of your year through color and temperature. For this CAL, we'll be making one row every day, documenting the temperature for that day and using a specific yarn color to match the temperature range from our very own Temperature Gauge. I’ve created a Temperature Gauge with a color indicator that will help guide you in choosing the right yarn for each day’s temperature. But that's not all! Each month, I’ll be sharing a Calendar Stitch Card, which includes the month’s calendar along with crochet stitch instructions. Each month, you’ll work the row using the stitch of the month, paired with the appropriate yarn color based on that day's temperature. This will give you a beautiful, textured blanket that grows month by month.I’m really excited to share that we’ll be learning 12 different crochet stitches throughout the year—some you may have tried before, and others will be new to you. Whether you’ve crocheted for years or are a newer crocheter, this project will be a fun and rewarding challenge. Every month’s stitch will add a unique texture to the blanket, making it a truly personalized and stunning piece of art.One of the best parts of this CAL is the new community section in the Crochet Club. This space will be dedicated to the Temperature-Sampler Blanket project, where you can:Ask questions: Whether you're new to the project or need help with a stitch, this section is the perfect place to ask for guidance.Share your progress: I can’t wait to see how your blanket is coming along! Whether it’s a photo of a finished row, an update on your materials, or just a note about how the project is going, sharing your journey will be so fun for everyone.Discuss materials: Not sure what yarn to use? Want to talk about hook sizes or other tools? The community section is the place to chat about it all.I encourage everyone to participate, whether you’re jumping in with your first CAL or are a seasoned pro. This project is all about community, creativity, and making something beautiful together. To get started, all you need to do is make sure you're part of my Crochet Club, where I’ll be sharing the Calendar Stitch Cards and all the information you need to follow along. The community section will be open for sharing, asking questions, and engaging with fellow crocheters throughout the entire project.I can’t wait to kick off this journey with you all and see how your Temperature-Sampler Blankets turn out. It's going to be a year-long adventure, and I’m so thrilled to have you all along for the ride! For me....  If I could go back and give my younger self one piece of advice it would be to stay authentic and don't let anyone persuade you to do or be something else. 💖💖💖

Hi Everyone!  I hope you are all doing well!  I wanted to reach out to you to see if you would be willing to help me with a topic I am making a video on right now.  The video is about How Crochet Can Help With Depression.  I know this is a highly sensitive and personal topic but I really feel that if this pertains to you your story might really help someone.  If you are willing to share but want to stay anonymous I completely understand and respect that.  You can email me at info@crochetwithTiffany.com to share your story and I will keep your name private.  I feel like this topic could do a lot of good and wanted to reach out to my amazing community here for help.  Love you all and I hope that if you have experienced depression that crochet is actively helping you through it and that you are taking steps to help your mental health. 💖💖💖

I finished rows through yesterday’s temps. Brighter blue at the foundation now lighter more purplish blue.  Heading toward dark purple!  Getting colder here ugh!

Here is my color code and the 1st few rows of the temperature  blanket. I'm doing an historical blanket from Dec 1975 to Dec 1976. I have all the temps for that range so I'm ready to go.

If you notice I had to frog already. I used the wrong colors. I was using Jan temps instead of Dec. Back on course now. Glad that I notice early. The last picture is the updated one. Don't know how to delete the other ones.

The Colors You Pick

The colors you pick for your Temperature Blanket are extremely important!  You want to pick colors that best represent the temperature range they will be used for that connect with how you feel about that temperature.

But you also want to pick colors that are pleasing to your eye.  This will be a blanket you want to display.  Hang over a couch in your living room or even drape over a blanket ladder.  A piece that will be a conversation starter and something people will look closely at to see the different temperature ranges documented.  Make sure the colors used in your blanket are colors that you want to look at, colors that go well with each other, and colors that make you happy. 🤗💖🧶

I've been concretrating on wearables and more difficult patterns at the end of the year. This was my second attempt a pattern using the Mosaic Stitch on the beanie. I love it other than I don't like the colors as much as I thought I would 😂

The Yarn I'm Using For My 2025 Temperature-Sampler Blanket CAL Project Is Loops & Threads Heathered Tweed.

If you can find a size 3 weight yarn to use for YOUR Temperature-Sampler blanket that would be great to help control the length of the project.
