Ok guys, I finally did it! I finished my first full sized blanket. Some may remember that I was looking to make a blanket for my nephew to take to college in the Fall. School colors are scarlet and brown. I used "my first blanket" pattern with Premier Puzzle in "checkers. " I did the puff stitch border in brown and cream. The sides are a but wavy....considering trying to block them. I think it came out well enough to give as a gift, what do you all think?

Hi! Needed a quick little happy and this beanie satisfied. Used Premier Spun Colors in colorway Blue Ridge.
Here is Kevin's debut, the little chicky I made with wild feathers, this is the amigurmi kit I bought off of Amazon last year which has the pattern for him and his egg. I used different yarn and hook size though and I made the egg a bit bigger His body was 2 strands of dk weight yarn. I used yarn I had here around the house and scraps for the small parts. Here is the plant with pot I also finally finished to go with him. I finished last year's temperature blanket that I made for my son, just set up the blocking! He wanted what he says is the "real" temperature scale colours so it goes purple coldest to red hottest (I used the purple for the border because I didn't use it through the year due to using average temps).
