Today's stitch was the feather stitch I had made a feather stitch blanket during from a free pattern that was released last year for a blanket drive for Warm Up America. I didn't finish in time to mail it off and really loved how pretty the blanket came out so I decided to keep it. I may gift it to a relative but I still haven't decided yet.  I was thinking folks might want to see a picture of it and I can share it here.  I used Lion brand pound of love, one skein of each of those colors I think if I recall correctly.  The pattern was a free pattern with video tutorial.  If anyone wants the link please let me know and I'll look for it. I can also look for the colorways as well if anyone is interested in using these same colors.  This stitch is a yarn eater and the blanket is definitely heavy, weighted blanket and it's nice and squishy.

Tiffany Hansen Thank you.  I had accessibility issues when I visited Scotland with a group.  When I visited Spain with my family, my uncle at the time had cancer and had accessibility issues so I made sure to find Airbnb's that had elevators or a minimum amount of stairs.  Unfortunately, some locations it can be harder to find handicap, wheelchair accessibility or even things like less stairs for individuals who can't walk as much or as far anymore.

Yes, I would like to go. It would depend on when, where and the cost.  I also deal with chronic joint pain (back, hips, and other joints) and fatigue issues. I also have some accessibility issues so I can't do a bunch of stairs or long hikes, my pain and energy levels vary by day.

I am a maybe, I've been wanting to possibly try out this yarn.  I tried to see if I could order this yarn with the current Joann's sale but it was all sold out. I haven't been able to buy it at the reduced price.

I was thinking of maybe making a mood blanket (they track their weekly mood). I saw a CAL from Cosy Rosie Crochet in the UK, for one and you can choose to either make a blanket with different stitches, granny squares or 2 different shawl patterns.  I deal with chronic pain and I was considering possibly adding a few of my different pain levels for those days to track and then average it out maybe associate them with certain mood/emotions and use different colors for different seasons (which would be a range of temperatures) and maybe adding a different design element for different precipitation-weather elements (thunderstorms/ rain, snow, ice, hail-sleet).  I'm not sure on the last one or how to tie it in.  I haven't started this project yet but I did download the free pdf workbook to track my moods and how they grouped together the different emotions into different categories.
