Sandra Palmer sure. I did the moss stitch square last night and that one seemed simpler to me than the other two squares, maybe try that one with less colors like 2 or 3 and carry the yarn on the side and then make the border around the square to cover it up. I did that to avoid weaving in a ton of ends. This wave ripple baby blanket tutorial of Tiffany's might help you, it's a similar concept for the ripple. Maybe try to make a small swatch and follow along with her, it's not the same exact stitches since she uses double crochet in this video but you can look up the treble3 together stitch on YouTube and find a tutorial you like and then try it. :) Hopefully that helps. Chevrons, wave, ripples and cables have been hard for me and took me awhile and lots of practice to learn and figure out. Just keep trying, take breaks and work on other stuff if you need to.

Tiffany Hansen you're welcome. I just got the package you sent me, thanks so much. Thanks to the package I was able to have a pretty black cup with lid since I lost my other one on my travels home. I finished four squares for the blanket and now that I got more of the RHSS yarn from the retreat I can make a few more squares if needed. I think it depends on how big you wanted to make the blanket? Do you need any of this yarn for joining the squares? I want to make a few soap sacks before I mail the squares and soap sacks to you.
I am going to show my squares and a soap sack and talk about both organizations plus the retreat. I will probably tell folks to please send any items they make to the Soap sack organization or to donate them locally and the same with WUA squares for them to send them in with a form to WUA or to a local person who joins squares for the WUA project. I may try to design my own square and/ or soap sack...maybe when I am less tired.
