Sandra Palmer yes that is very rough. Prayers for you and your son I hope his surgery goes well.  Miss you too and I'm not sure what your favorite colors are but I made something for you and put together a care - get well package.  If the mail carrier picks it up today it should arrive by Wed or Thurs of this week... latest by Friday.  I mailed it through pirate ship and it should have sent you a shipping notice today to your e-mail account.  I hope you like it. I figured you needed some cheering up and a crochet hug.

I'm curious, what is everyone's favorite colors?  I thought of making this as a poll but there are alot of color options out there.  I think color families are helpful too.  I love rainbow, strong vibrant colors, neutrals, gem tones and fall colors.  I like blue, greens, reds, browns, grays, blacks, purples some orange and yellows... love sparkle.  (I don't really like pink but I'll use it if needed, lol ).

FYI: I found these big plastic knitting needles for $8.40 yesterday on the US Amazon site, they look to be alot cheaper than the wooden ones.  https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003WMKXZ0/ref=ewc_pr_img_2?smid=A1C5MGHXRGKPQC&psc=1
