I love to crochet, tunisian crochet, loom knit, using a circular knitting machine and shop for yarn.

Sandra Palmer Ā if it's the dark grey one, then yes it's a cocoon but it's in Tunisian Crochet. Ā There are many different looks to cocoon cardigans.

Sandra Palmer thanks, well I looked for the pattern it was from Mama in a stitch and looks like she decided to no longer have any tunisian crochet patterns on her blog anymore. Ā She made a knit version and a crochet version of the cardigan. Ā The one I made is in Tunisian Crochet, main body is tunisian knit stitch and I used Wool ease thick and quick (I used the bonus skeins which have alot more yarn, it uses alot of yarn and it's really heavy).

For these cocoon style cardigans, you pretty much make a rectangle, the width should be how wide your back is plus whatever extra you want for how long your sleeves will be, then you fold the top and the bottom to meet in the middle and a few inches on each side which are your arm holes. Ā Some different blogs have diagrams explaining this better.

Sandra Palmer for which one, this bulky dark grey wearable? Ā That one was a free pattern. Ā  I would have liked this to have longer sleeves because I'm usually cold.
