I've already completed squares 1-6 and am currently working on square 7.  I do have a tendency to crochet tighter and have really been working on keeping them loose.

Tiffany--in the video it states to chain 51 however he written pattern states to chain 45. Which one would be preferred?

My squares are between 9-11 inches. Not sure if I can stretch them to 13 inches.  Otherwise, my blanket is going to be a little smaller.

Made this today. It was easier than I thought it would be. Plan on making more.

Tiffany, I have a question.  When I use the 4.25 mm hook, I don't get 13 inches wide.  Should I go up hook sizes or should I add more stitches to get to 13 inches?

I believe I got it figured out.  I'm assuming the 6 inches is circumference, not height of bag.

Question--On the SACK website, it says the size of the soap sack should be 4x6 inch.  That seems like a big soap sack.  I guess my question is, it that the correct size?

Should we incorporate green into the red, white and blue blanket or can we do a separate green blanket?  Also is it recommended using an army green versus a regular green? Thanks.
