Join Me for the 2025 Temperature-Sampler Blanket Crochet Along!I am beyond excited to announce the launch of my 2025 Temperature-Sampler Blanket Crochet Along (CAL), kicking off in January! This project will be a fun, interactive, and beautiful way to document your year while learning new crochet stitches and creating a one-of-a-kind blanket that tells the story of your year through color and temperature. For this CAL, we'll be making one row every day, documenting the temperature for that day and using a specific yarn color to match the temperature range from our very own Temperature Gauge. I’ve created a Temperature Gauge with a color indicator that will help guide you in choosing the right yarn for each day’s temperature. But that's not all! Each month, I’ll be sharing a Calendar Stitch Card, which includes the month’s calendar along with crochet stitch instructions. Each month, you’ll work the row using the stitch of the month, paired with the appropriate yarn color based on that day's temperature. This will give you a beautiful, textured blanket that grows month by month.I’m really excited to share that we’ll be learning 12 different crochet stitches throughout the year—some you may have tried before, and others will be new to you. Whether you’ve crocheted for years or are a newer crocheter, this project will be a fun and rewarding challenge. Every month’s stitch will add a unique texture to the blanket, making it a truly personalized and stunning piece of art.One of the best parts of this CAL is the new community section in the Crochet Club. This space will be dedicated to the Temperature-Sampler Blanket project, where you can:Ask questions: Whether you're new to the project or need help with a stitch, this section is the perfect place to ask for guidance.Share your progress: I can’t wait to see how your blanket is coming along! Whether it’s a photo of a finished row, an update on your materials, or just a note about how the project is going, sharing your journey will be so fun for everyone.Discuss materials: Not sure what yarn to use? Want to talk about hook sizes or other tools? The community section is the place to chat about it all.I encourage everyone to participate, whether you’re jumping in with your first CAL or are a seasoned pro. This project is all about community, creativity, and making something beautiful together. To get started, all you need to do is make sure you're part of my Crochet Club, where I’ll be sharing the Calendar Stitch Cards and all the information you need to follow along. The community section will be open for sharing, asking questions, and engaging with fellow crocheters throughout the entire project.I can’t wait to kick off this journey with you all and see how your Temperature-Sampler Blankets turn out. It's going to be a year-long adventure, and I’m so thrilled to have you all along for the ride! Wrapped in love baby blanket. Almost done just need to figure out a good border. I’m planning to use a purple which I’ll add a picture to see and figure out what kind of border to do.

Just completed a baby blanket for my Niece using the waffle stitch. She's having a girl and the name they chose means Bee in Hebrew. So the nursery is going to have a forest and Bumblebee theme. I have leftover yarn, so will try and get a beanie made to match.

1 Week Left!

We have one more week until our Crochet Club Fall/Halloween Crochet Contest!!  I hope you join in the fun!

This contest is an excuse for you to crochet something you have wanted to make but have talked yourself out of doing because you don't have anyone to give it to or you don't usually decorate or you just don't have any reason that justifies you getting the materials.

I'm giving you that excuse to give that project a try!

Everyone at all crochet levels are more than welcome!  Let this be all about the fun and experience of crocheting something you are excited about and then sharing with others to inspire.

If you don't have the time to make something, that's totally cool!  Please still come join in the meetup to see what other people submit and help vote for a winner.

I am very much looking forward to this meeting!  These contests are always so inspiring and fun!

This is where I am at with the Granny Square Pumpkin Crochet Along Project.  I've recorded the 2 sections but need to finish pieces so I can move onto the next step of joining.

Wanted to let you know this project is coming.  🤗💖🧶

Hi Tiffany! I absolutely love your new shawl tutorial.  It’s beautiful! You mentioned using a 3 weight DK yarn.  I have a mandala ombré yarn in the color Chi, which has a similar blend to your shawl color.  It is a 4 weight yarn, 100% acrylic.  It does feel to me like a very light yarn, as if it could be a 3 weight yarn.  Would a light weight 4 yarn work as well?  I like the airiness of the one you made. Not sure if the 4 would change the appearance and feel.  Thanks, Migna

completed my Sampler blanket last night. I did make some change to the stitches I used for the border. I discovered quickly I was not a fan of the SC twist stitch.
