Join Me for the 2025 Temperature-Sampler Blanket Crochet Along!I am beyond excited to announce the launch of my 2025 Temperature-Sampler Blanket Crochet Along (CAL), kicking off in January! This project will be a fun, interactive, and beautiful way to document your year while learning new crochet stitches and creating a one-of-a-kind blanket that tells the story of your year through color and temperature. For this CAL, we'll be making one row every day, documenting the temperature for that day and using a specific yarn color to match the temperature range from our very own Temperature Gauge. I’ve created a Temperature Gauge with a color indicator that will help guide you in choosing the right yarn for each day’s temperature. But that's not all! Each month, I’ll be sharing a Calendar Stitch Card, which includes the month’s calendar along with crochet stitch instructions. Each month, you’ll work the row using the stitch of the month, paired with the appropriate yarn color based on that day's temperature. This will give you a beautiful, textured blanket that grows month by month.I’m really excited to share that we’ll be learning 12 different crochet stitches throughout the year—some you may have tried before, and others will be new to you. Whether you’ve crocheted for years or are a newer crocheter, this project will be a fun and rewarding challenge. Every month’s stitch will add a unique texture to the blanket, making it a truly personalized and stunning piece of art.One of the best parts of this CAL is the new community section in the Crochet Club. This space will be dedicated to the Temperature-Sampler Blanket project, where you can:Ask questions: Whether you're new to the project or need help with a stitch, this section is the perfect place to ask for guidance.Share your progress: I can’t wait to see how your blanket is coming along! Whether it’s a photo of a finished row, an update on your materials, or just a note about how the project is going, sharing your journey will be so fun for everyone.Discuss materials: Not sure what yarn to use? Want to talk about hook sizes or other tools? The community section is the place to chat about it all.I encourage everyone to participate, whether you’re jumping in with your first CAL or are a seasoned pro. This project is all about community, creativity, and making something beautiful together. To get started, all you need to do is make sure you're part of my Crochet Club, where I’ll be sharing the Calendar Stitch Cards and all the information you need to follow along. The community section will be open for sharing, asking questions, and engaging with fellow crocheters throughout the entire project.I can’t wait to kick off this journey with you all and see how your Temperature-Sampler Blankets turn out. It's going to be a year-long adventure, and I’m so thrilled to have you all along for the ride! Hi All! Here’s a pic of the the toddler pants I made that was shared in the Crafter’s Gathering.  I am not a pattern writer….but I did record my process if anyone would like to have it. (The size I made was 2T)

The Vote Has Begun!!  Which project would you like to do a Crochet Along together?  Votes will end Wednesday May 24th.  This will give me time to plan and prep for the CAL to begin in June.  How this CAL will go will be announced here in the forum closer to the end of May so you will know what to expect.  I'm super curious what project wins out and what we will be creating together.  🤗🤗🤗

I plan on creating a whole section here in the Crochet Club breaking down each crocheter level, what it means to be in each level (what your expected to know), and how to level up to the next level.

I think this will be so much fun!  It will also help you to identify where you are in your own crochet journey and if there is anything else you might want to give a try.

While I'm building this section I will direct you to the Beginner Basics videos on my YouTube Channel that I think are very helpful.

Neps refers to small knots or clusters of tangled fibers that occur naturally in wool, cotton, or other fibers.  They can occur during processing, spinning, or weaving and can affect the appearance and texture of the resulting fabric.  In some cases, neps can add visual interest and create a more textured look, while in other cases, they may be considered a defect.

Hey ladies, I made this today and I thought of all of you. This is a fun and delicious recipe that even your little ones will enjoy. You can use your imagination and creativity with colors and flavor of the combination of fruits. You can use whatever fruits you like.

I use 4 large strawberry, 2 new Zealand kiwis 1 banana, 5slices of mango and 1/4 of yellow melon, 1/2 of Greek plain yogurt blend everything and serve and just for more fun I add 1 tsb of chia seed wait 5 minutes and enjoy and best thing no need of adding sugar because with the natural flavor of the fruits is delicious.

Please don't be shy and share photos of your smoothie and what combination of fruit did you use❤️😊

How did I do? Does it look right? Do I need to do anything differently? Any tips are welcome.

I have to admit that I'm a little confused where I should be posting things. I think when I signed up I agreed not to solicit on here but is this where I should be asking questions? Or posting photos?

I've never been a part of a crafting community before so I'm a little intimidated with all the forms of social media, etc.

Sincerely (and feel free to delete this if it's not appropriate),

Mary
