Hi Everyone! Just a reminder that I have moved tonight's Crafter's Gathering Meeting to Saturday. Today is my son's birthday and he has made a special request that conflicts with our meetup time.
I hope you all have a great week! I'll see you Saturday. 🤗💖🧶

Hey everyone!!! I'm looking at purchasing a board for blocking my 2024 crochet along squares. What would you all recommend?
I finished my Tiffany top with Ice yarn in Lorena Batik DK, 6 and 1/3 donuts. I made the size M and used a 5.5mm hook but it still came out way too big on me and the color doesn't look good with my skin complexion and coloring. ;( Going to remake it in burgundy with Ice yarns baby cotton dk yarn.
Hi Tiffany, I'm not sure if I can post this here or if I should post it in another section. I heard of this a few months back and was able to make and finish and mail off one blanket for this blanket donation drive to Camp Boggy Creek in FL, it's a camp for kids with chronic illnesses. The kids get to go for free and each kid gets to take home a hand made crochet or knit blanket with their own sewn teddy bear. The ladies who are running the blanket donation drive will start recollecting blankets in Aug 2024 of this year.
If you would like more information you can find it on the following YouTube channels: @ShezgotYarn , @CharmedGrammyCrochet , @ninasknotscrochet and @CraftyFloridian .
The requirements for the blankets, they must be knit or crochet and be the following size: 30" to 40" wide by 40" to 50" long. Thanks and I hope we can all chip in and help and reach the new goal for 2024- 2025!!
Here is a link to the video that was created by the camp from when the blankets were dropped off from the ladies running the blanket drive and dropping off all the blankets on 2/13/24.
Hello Everyone! A lot of you have been worried about and inquiring about Ko's condition. As most of you know, she was in the hospital for 4 days with pancreatitis prior to the retreat and is back in again now for the last 3 days. I was worried they did not resolve her issue before the retreat, and I was half right...the pancreatits was still present, as was the closed bile duct. But this time they did a procedure called ERCP and ended up doing a sphincterotomy with stent (in the bile duct). They also did some testing they did not do the first stay and discovered she has C Diff a contagious bacterial infection, and it appears that all of these conditions together were what was causing her so much pain, and in turn dehydration and fatigue. She was under quarantine due to the C Diff, so I haven't seen her for the last 36 hours, but she has told me they are finally letting her have fluids by mouth and even gave her soft foods this morning! Most of her issues are finally resolving, but her erythrocites are low. She will be staying at least one more night. She and I and our family are grateful and thankful for your concerns and prayers!!!
I seen in one of your videos that you had a hippo. Where can I find that pattern?
Tiffany by chance do you have or have you done a tutorial on how to read a c2c graph?
Tiffany Hansen how many Warm Up America squares do you need or would like each of us to make for the blanket? I wasn't able to finish any at the retreat but I did finish one last night and I have half of another one done but I ran out of a few of the colors of the RHSS yarn I brought back with me in my carry on from the retreat. I don't seem to have some of the same RHSS colors here at home. Thanks
