Sandra, This is the youtube video I used to make a frog with my boyfriend's grandaughter. We didn't do the color change, just made the whole thing green. I believe we used blanket yarn with a bigger hopk so it was a little bigger and squishier. If you search youtube for no sew amigurumi you can find alot of patterns and might see something easy that she would love. https://youtu.be/nN9JK9JZG-k?si=yiyMWoGFSCvvKnu8
Monday, Oct. 7th: Crochet Book Club Meeting
Hi Crochet Club Members!
Heads up that this Monday, Oct. 7th at 2pm CST we will be having a Live meetup here in the Crochet Club for our October Crochet Book Of The Month!
We will be going over what the book is, why one of our Crochet Club Members recommended the book to our book club and a few tidbits that you might want to know before you get started.
Remember, this is all for fun, inspiration and exposure to new crochet concepts and ideas.
Please share in the Crochet Book Club Chat:
If you do decide to make a project from the book
what project you will be making and if you will be creating something on your own with a concept from the book
What materials you plan on playing with
And pictures of your work in progress as you go.
Also! If you can get a picture to me BEFORE our last Wednesday Meeting, Oct. 30th, I can share what our Crochet Book Club has been up to and hopefully inspire others to join in on the fun.
p.s. your project does not have to be completed to send in a picture by this date. Any progress you have made on the project will be enough to share and inspire others.
Let me know if you have any questions at all! HAVE FUN! I look forward to seeing what you come up with! 🤗💖🧶
looking for a pattern or suggestions for a Bumblebee Baby Blanket. My niece is expecting her first baby, and the room theme is going to be bumblebees and the forrest
I'm excited about tonight. I missed y'all so much last week. I always feel two steps behind everyone.
The soap sacks I was able to finish and I mailed them off on Monday. :) I used the patterns from the soap sacks site and some I modified a bit and I used the yarn donated to us from the crochet retreat.
A few projects I recently finished, both are patterns from Bag O Day Crochet, the blanket is a kit from Mary Maxim, pattern: Beauty runs Deep, 5.5mm hook but I changed the purple from the kit to dark blue yarn from Herrschner's worsted 8 yarn, because the tone was too close in the purple and light brown. The shawl is the Jessica shawl from Bag o Day crochet and I already forgot the hook size I used.
Heads Up! I'm going LIVE on my YouTube Channel at 2pm CST to announce the winner of my giveaway over there. If you haven't entered in yet you still have time.
Someone in our Coffee Crochet Meeting this morning asked if I was going live in an hour after our meeting ended and I said yes but then upon looking it was actually 2 hours.
I hope to see you there. 🤗
