I had to use a 5.5mm hook in order to get closer to the dimensions. My squares are approximately 12 inches wide by 12 or 13 inches long.  It seems the width is harder to achieve. I plan on just continuing, and hope the join method will work out.  

I would have loved to attend the retreat. Sounds fun. I do have my nieces wedding in August, so I won’t be able to attend. Some day… 🤗
