Progress so far. Can’t believe we are already halfway through the year.

A couple people have now commented on my picture saying they didn’t think we can use googly eyes on our worms, and asking if we can use them or not, but no one has responded if that is true.

Can someone please confirm for me yes or no if we can use them before I continue making them? If we can’t then I’m going to stop.

Also, if we can’t, any suggestions for what I can do with the ones I’ve already made? Anywhere I can donate or send them myself?

I'm thinking about making some sort of small lapghan sized blanket for myself and three coworkers, with the goal of giving the three of them theirs for Christmas. I'm looking through Tiffany's videos and trying to decide what pattern/stitch would be a good one that would be simple enough that I won't give up, but also looks interesting enough that it's not just a basic, boring looking blanket. They just made the comment the other day that they would have never thought I would be someone who crochets, so I thought it would be fun to make something to impress them, and something they can maybe actually use.

Something to note is that we all work at home three days a week and come into the office two days a week. When we come into the office we are required to bring everything with us, and take everything back home when we leave. Therefore, if I were to give them a blanket that they might actually want to bring and use in the office to put over their legs (our office is pretty cold), then it would need to be lightweight enough to carry/fold up and not be a burden, but warm enough to keep them comfortable.

So, does anyone have any suggestions of patterns, stitches, sizes, yarns, etc?

Bonus if Tiffany has a video for it, because I find it super helpful to watch the close up to make sure I'm doing things right.

Thanks in advance!
