That is a great question Dawn!  There are so many different kinds of yarn, this would be something I would break down per skein.

Thank you for asking for one specifically.  The yarn I see would make for a couple different great projects.

Blankets (of course), A wearable like a top/sweater/cardigan, A home decor item like a pillow.  How about a stuffed animal?  A scarf or beanie.  And then within each category are more options.

I hope this helps!  🤗❤️🧶

Hi Sandra! Are you looking for a way to join yarn together?

Laura Greathouse Let's give that a try to see if it helps.  Try the J - 6.00mm crochet.  If you come upon the February Bead Stitch and it's still giving you trouble lets go ahead and swap out the Bead Stitch for another stitch.  That way you can continue on with your project and still have a great experience.  Tension is the most complicated part of crocheting.  You'll get it!

Commented on February stitch

Hi Laura!  I actually had another person reach out to me with a similar experience.  What ended up being the problem was the individuals crochet stitch tension with the January Crunch Stitch.  Their stitches were so tight with the crunch stitch that when they started working the Bead Stitch in February the beads needed more room and just pushed each other causing an over flow on both sides.

When this person re-did their crunch stitch rows with a looser tension their bead stitches laid very nicely.

You are in a great position right now where we are still early into this project.  If you did need to start over with the crunch stitch and maybe go up a crochet hook size to help with your stitch tension, it would be annoying but not the end of the world to do so.  Many people are just getting started on their temperature/sampler blankets right now.  Having the ability to already know what the weather will be for all that time should help make the project fly.  Let me know if this helps.

I love that you recently picked crochet back up and then took off with it!  Sounds like you have made quite a lot since you started again in 2020.  I'm so happy that many of those projects were inspired from my YouTube Channel.  I can't wait to make even more fun projects with you!
